The Chipper’s Top 5

The final week of the NFL Regular Season is upon us.  This will be the last installment of CT5 for the year.  Use this well as there is a log jam on top the Leaderboards for the regular games and the final 6 holes.  Also, don’t forget that this is a par 5 and it factors into the tie-breaking system. Also, make a note that the Cowboys – Redskins game will be used as this week’s Monday Night game for the tie-breaking process.  Good Luck.

Chicago Bears (9-6) vs. Detroit Lions (4-11)

To keep their playoff hopes alive, the Chicago Bears must win. And they will. Jay Cutler will operate against the overrated Detroit defense, and the Bears will hold their breath.

Prediction:  Bears 24 Lions 13

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-13) vs. Tennessee Titans (5-10)

The Jaguars gave the Patriots a game. Both these teams suck and may be getting new head coaches this offseason. Chad Henne and company finish off 2012 on a high note and in the most Jaguars-like move ever, the team will actually win in Week 17.

Prediction:  Jaguars 21 Titans 20

Houston Texans (12-3) vs. Indianapolis Colts (10-5)

Colts Win!!  Colts Win!! Colts Win!!  Head Coach Chuck Pagano will be on the sidelines for Indy, so look for his players to give it their all.

Prediction:  Colts 27 Texans 24

Oakland Raiders (4-11) vs. San Diego Chargers (6-9)

The Raiders D has been playing relatively well of late and the Black and Silver want to avenge the earlier loss in Oakland.  The fans (about 37) in San Diego want to see a home team loss for two reasons:  to maybe say a final farewell to Head Coach Turner and to improve their draft position for 2013.  Yawner….

Prediction:  Raiders 20 Chargers 17

St. Louis Rams (7-7-1) vs. Seattle Seahawks (10-5)

The Seahawks are most definitely “the team no one wants to play” while playing lights-out defense. The Rams have a decent defense themselves, but Seattle is where teams go to get beat.

Prediction:  Seahawks 34 Rams 13
