Man is there a lot going on in the off-season these days. A hand-full of trades, some more arrests and draft signings hi-lite the last couple of months. I want to spend a minute on the arrests. Can anyone out there tell me why there aren’t responsible people following these young men around 24/7 trying to keep them out of trouble? There’s been a total of nine arrests so far in June and July 2012. A variety of infractions have occured but the one that irks the crap outta me is when these players get popped for driving under the influence. You mean to tell me that not one person that’s in the same general area of these players can’t step up and say “Hey, you’ve had enough, let me get you a cab”. I guess they figure it’s a right and not a privilege to play at this level. With no one mannin up, this behavior will continue until someone gets killed and then I guess it’ll become a front page issue.
